Information below pertains to current 4th-6th grade students. NOMINATIONS FOR Spring 2020 Academically Intellectually Gifted Nominations are taken throughout the 2019-2020 school year. Students will be tested following the WCPSS AIG testing window. Nominations given after the Fall 2019 testing window will be placed in the Spring 2020 testing window. The nominations are for 4th and 5th grade students. Nominations given after the Spring 2020 testing window will be placed in the Fall 2020 testing window.
Information for 3rd grade parents... CogAt Testing- The CogAT 3rd grade assesses verbal, nonverbal, and quantitative abilities, and is used for admissions into gifted programs. The CogAT is an especially strong test for measuring relative academic strengths and weaknesses. IOWA Testing- The 3rd grade IOWA assesses achievement, what the student has learned so far.
